I haven’t emailed my list in forever – will this group help me?

That is the point of this group, to get you writing to your list on a regular basis.

I know exactly how hard it can be to find the time to write an email or to figure out what to say. I know the pain of staring at the “white screen of death,” knowing I have to send something but not knowing where to start.

The Email Writing Accountability Group is designed to help you break through all of that and build a genuine relationship with your subscribers. That way, when you are ready to sell your product or service, they’re excited to buy from you and not your competitors.

I don't have anything to sell yet. Should I email my subscribers anyway?

Absolutely! You want to start your relationship with your subscribers on the right foot by letting them know who you are, what you do, and what you stand for. That way you can grow your know, like, and trust factor in advance of having something to sell.

And by sending nurture emails regularly, you can train your subscribers to open your emails and click on your links, even if you're sending them to blog posts, podcasts, articles, or something similar. Once you've got something to sell, they'll want to click through and find out what you've been up to, and they'll be primed to buy.

Why do you spend an hour and a half to “write an email in 30 minutes?”

Fair question.

We spend the first 30 minutes writing our emails. Everyone chooses their topic and starts writing. The idea is to get something on the page, regardless of how good or bad you may think it is.

We spend the next 30 minutes reviewing each other’s emails. The initial feedback you get from the other group members will help you polish what you’ve written and make it clearer and more persuasive.

It may change everything you’ve written, or it may take you in an entirely new direction. Group members who find they can’t get a lot written in half an hour get enough feedback from everyone that they’re able to write a great email in the remaining editing time.

We spend the final 20 minutes editing what we’ve written and doing any final reviews members may ask for. That way, you’ve got an email ready to load into your ESP to send to your subscribers as soon as you press the button.

So yeah, you do write your email in 30 minutes. And you’re ready to send it in an hour and a half total.

When are the sessions again and does it matter which one I attend?

Our weekly sessions are:

  • Mondays from 10:00 -11:30 am PT
  • Thursdays from 2:00 – 3:30 pm PT

Our Monthly Ask Me Anything sessions are on the third Thursday of every month, right after the weekly writing session, from 3:30 – 4:30 pm PT.

You can attend whichever session works best for you. You’re welcome to switch back and forth, if your schedule changes from week to week.

You can cancel at any time. No hard feelings. You can attend the remainder of the sessions you have paid for, if you wish.
